OSCE observers came under fire in the village Shirokino.

The members of the monitoring mission of the OSCE special Friday afternoon were fired on his observation post in the sector "M" near Shirokino (Donetsk region of Ukraine), told the press officer of the sector "M" Oleg Sushinskiy.

"Today, about 15:00 (16:00 Moscow time) were fired under Shirokino OSCE observers. Representatives of the mission came under small arms fire, mortar fire was also. According Sushinsky, as a result of the incident, none of the observers was hurt.

The report SMM OSCE on March 26, released on Friday night, it is noted that more than half - 50-60% - in Shirokino houses were destroyed in the fighting. The rest, including kindergarten, were damaged.

During a visit to this village in the afternoon of Thursday representatives SMM heard intermittent shots of small arms and light weapons from the southwest and mortar (probably 82mm) north-northeast of Shirokino.

"SMM could not establish the direction of the fire. On the main road SMM seen craters, unexploded ordnance, burned-out tanks and APCs. HMM estimated that most of the effects were caused by shelling from the western direction," - the report says.
